While we are told to bring our own supplies, it would be nice to be advised of type and size number of brushes that are planned to be used. As I did not have a large fan brush I could not approximate the clouds as demonstrated.

Great teacher and loved the subject. Im a beginner and my favorite is abstract watercolor/mixed media. Also loved the location. Really friendly people and loads of products i will try at some point.

The California Trail Interpretive Center (west of Elko, NV) hosted a ?learn & paint? activity. The subject was owls. I began this piece during the hourlong class, then, finished later giving myself a little freedom to venture away from the exact lesson example. My Ault Park Pavilion painting was inspired by a perfect spring day when my husband and I wandered beneath the cherry blossoms at Ault Park.
